The Strangest day

So, I fell asleep reading Don Quixote last night, I didn't sleep well, tossed and turned all night and had at least one odd dream that stuck with me

Consequently, I was extremely tired, and a little late to work.

When I got to work a coworker of mine asked me how I was and I mentioned that my back was hurting from tossing and turning, so she gave me some extra strength vicodin.

Weeee!

Later, when I went to have a smoke break, there was a poor little bat, on the sidewalk, I scooped him up with a newspaper and put him under a tree because other people were afraid of him. Truth be told I think he was dying.

Later, at lunch time, I realized that my lunch fell out of my bag at some point and I would have to go out, so I was walking to the mall and heard some panhandler telling a sob story about getting stuck between Ohio and Salt lake city, funny thing is this same guy said the same thing to me weeks ago. I went and got my lunch ate it and headed back to work. I was listening to music on my Mp3 player and couldn't hear anything. Next thing I know, the panhandler has come up from behind, startled me and is now asking for a cigarette, I said nothing but flipped him off.

I didn't know why I did this, probably a combination of being stoned on Vicodin and being exhausted in general, plus being exhausted because I've been working overtime and this week is going by slowly, and the feeling that if I can work overtime to pay my bills and take my vacation, he sure as shit can get a part time job to buy smokes and a greyhound ticket to SLC. In any case, I just did it, and walked on.

I sat down to have a cigarette and I was facing the street, I saw a poorly painted short bus coming down the street whose defining feature was that Rozinante was painted on the front of it. This of course being the name of Don Quixote's horse. Sure enough on the back of the bus 'Quixote' was painted in large letters.

Synchronicity is fun.

So I finished a big job at work and the next job was not quite ready and seemed too complicated to work on in my intoxicated state. I have plenty of hours and 2 more days in the work week.

I'm home. I'm going to take a bath and go to bed. Yep, at 4pm I'm going to bed.

Goodnight.

I am guilty of using slang myself on occasion, however I am simply stating that terms like 'winningest' should not be so common. I am upset about this because after I saw an article using the "word", I heard a newscaster, a supposedly intelligent person, repeat this headline on the air. Why are we as a society so afraid of using more than one word to convey an idea. Why is it that saying 'winningest' is suddenly more acceptable than saying, 'Phelps has won the most gold medals'?

I have just received word from Mercedes from Sky Chairs that Joe from Puke and Snot has died.

We are still waiting on more details from our friends in Minnesota, and though I want to believe it's a hoax, the source is credible.

And I was just getting to know him too.

Also found this journal

http://fitzthetoad.livejournal.com/

I'm insane, this is long, unless you are really interested, do not read

Doctor who

First of all Thanks to Russell T. Davies for tying up a bunch of loose ends and leaving just a few things open to speculation. Though I really do wish that these people would fucking watch the old series once in a while. So here are some of my issues...

On the subject of Regeneration, did he or didn't he? Ok, so the explanation of how he removed the regeneration energy into the hand kinda makes sense and it was necessary for the whole "clone of my own" story line, but why did he need to do it? If you go back to the old series, after the key to time series, not only did Romana choose to regenerate, she chose the form she would take. Wouldn't have been more powerful to explain that while he couldn't change his hair color, which doesn't make sense, that he did choose to be younger for Rose? Just a thought.

Ok, So now we have a half human Doctor as well, they made the statement that now he's half human he only has one heart and will age and die with no regeneration. Here's the problem: The movie doctor. While I hate to admit that he is part of the story, there can be no chris eccleston without him because we watched Sylvester McCoy regenerate into the horrible Paul McGann, So in that movie, the doctor is said to be half human yet he still has two hearts, and as we did have Chris Eccleston, could obviously regenerate. So why is Paul McGann's half human different than David Tennant's half human? And don't even get me started about the Master possessing the body of poor Eric Roberts. Ok, so we all know that movie is flawed, hell Russell T. Davies hates having to include Paul McGann as well, we know this as in a previous show he wrote a character that was a big Doctor Who fan who refused to acknowledge Paul McGann. But my point here is that he is including him and all the rest of the Doctors. If you are going to use previous story lines instead of starting fresh, you need to take the time to study the past information otherwise you end up with people like me.

Furthermore, if Donna could handle time lord brain in human body, why the fuck can "clone of my own" Doctor do it?

I get that it was a way to make it believable that Rose Tyler would stop looking for the Doctor, would stop trying to break through the barriers that are between the dimensions, but now he's human, he's fragile, anything could happen, and were he to die, there we have Rose again, trying to unmake existence again to be with him.

On the subject of the time war:

The time lock is broken, we will see other time lords and Daleks coming back out to our side. Why isn't he concerned that he needs to go time lock that thing again. Oh and by the way, if Tosh finished the time lock on the hub before she died, why is she dead? See now I have to watch Torchwood again so that I can poke holes in that. It's my nature.

Ok, so I get that they can't be perfect, it is not possible to read the reams of material on Doctor Who and come up without inconsistency, especially when you consider the spin offs, I get that it's a show.

I KNOW IT'S JUST A SHOW
See the reason I love it, is because I wish it weren't, that and the fact that The Doctor has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember.

Ok, so on to Martha Jones...

Not only is her German atrocious, but any one who calls themselves a doctor would have a bit more of a moral crisis about blowing up the whole world, and Martha had never any problem standing up for herself when she was with the Doctor, so why with Unit?

Oh and am I the only person who sees a war against UNIT on the horizon? I'll tell you one thing, if they don't bring back the Brigadier at least for a one off, I'm going to start writing and sending letters to Stephen Moffatt on a daily basis. I mean they've mentioned him, the actor is still alive, why the hell not? He's a staple, like Sarah Jane, like K-9, like the motherfucking Daleks and Davros, BRING BACK THE BRIGADIER!!!!!!

Ok, so a moment of Sanity. if that's possible.

I'm just sad that it's going to be 2010 before a new series happens, sure there will be specials and that's great, but I'm going to miss it just the same.

I've been writing for a while and I haven't covered half of this episode, so

TO BE CONTINUED>>>>
